There was a time where I actually detested Urban Outfitters. Not because the clothes weren't adorable, but because I had developed a problem with paying for slightly overpriced garments that I knew would also be in the closet of every other girl I know. That's the thing about Urban Outfitters: it has sectioned their target market so well that it has become the exclusive "go-to" store for mainstream-accessible "cool".
That being said, that doesn't mean that I don't keep an ongoing wish list on their website and drool over their designer collaborations. Some that just hit the site include Rodebjer, Madras by A.P.C., and Shakuhachi. But I must say, the creme de la creme was seeing Stolen Girlfriends Club finally hit my price point. I love those clothes and how they make a girl look edgy but classy at the same time, a very difficult task. So while I must share these finds with the many other Urban Outfitters shoppers, at least we are sharing something exquisite.
